Breaking the black box
Traditional agency creative development is built around getting a brief and then going away for weeks on end to come back with “The Answer.” Unfortunately, this approach often gets it wrong because it misses an important area of inspiration—the client and the brand. The traditional approach then sees the agency try to sell the idea through as they argue over feedback for the next few weeks. We find that whole model tedious, uninspiring, and slow.
